Extensive car parking and great public transport links make the Adelaide Showground one of the most accessible venues in Adelaide.
There are over 2,000 public car parks on-site which can be entered from Goodwood or Greenhill Roads – both major arterial thoroughfares. Though a parking fee applies for public events, event organisers and exhibitors enjoy free parking.
The Adelaide Showground is located on several major bus routes and is a comfortable walking distance from the Goodwood tram stop, which runs direct from the CBD. The venue also has its own taxi rank, and the Adelaide Showground can arrange for taxis to attend events when required.
Visitor facilities include a private parents room in the Atrium Food Court – ideal for feeding and changing baby, five automatic teller machines and extensive public catering, including the popular Jubilee Café, which sells coffee, cakes, baguettes and light meals on weekdays and event weekends.
Disabled visitors are also well-catered for. All areas of the venue are accessible by ramps and lifts, and wheelchair-friendly toilets and public telephones are located throughout the venue. Disabled parking bays are also available.
