RA&HS Archives Foundation

The Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA Inc has a range of archival information on site relating to the history of the RA&HS of SA Inc, Royal Adelaide Show and Royal Adelaide Wine Show. This material is available for research purposes on an appointment basis.

As we are a 'collecting' archive we welcome donations of relevant material such as photographs, award certificates, ribbons, rosettes, trophies, medals, posters, showbags etc.  Monetary donations to the Archives Foundation are also welcomed in order that  we can continue to preserve and restore our collection. RA&HS Education Foundation of SA Inc

The foundation

Established in March 2007, the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Education Foundation of South Australia Inc supports Agricultural Education and awards Scholarships.

 Foundation objectives;

  1. To establish, maintain and provide scholarships, bursaries or prizes covering all levels of education, in order to encourage and develop knowledge and skills in all fields of primary industry to predominantly benefit the community of South Australia;
  2. To encourage recipients of scholarships, bursaries or prizes to become involved in the activities of the Show Society; and
  3. To undertake activities and promotions to educate the community of South Australia about the importance of primary industry to the economy and social fabric of the State

Coca Cola Regional Scholarship Program

The Australian Council of Agricultural Societies, with funding support from Coca-Cola, is offering four scholarships to members of agricultural show societies in South Australia. The scholarships of $2,000 each, will be available for members who are studying agriculture related subjects at tertiary level in South Australia.

Preference in awarding scholarships will be based on the commitment of the applicant to regional Australia and their involvement in their local Show Society.  Entries to close 30 June 2010. The scholarship will be presented to the successful applicants at the Royal Adelaide Show.
